What happens when we pick up/return the van?
You should leave time at the start and end of the booking to allow for familiarization with the camper and for it to be checked on your return. We will show you all the campers features on pick-up and will complete a vehicle check on pick-up and return. You must bring the required drivers documents, the camper will not be released without these. An inventory of items included will also need to be checked. You will also need to have paid your security deposit via the website.
What is the campervan like to drive?
Different to modern vehicles, the van is over thirty years old and does not have the luxury of power steering or ABS. You should drive more slowly (max 55mph) and allow more time to complete your journey. It is STRONGLY recommended that you do not attempt to drive over any of the Lakeland passes. Take your time and you will enjoy your holiday all the more.
